Prevention education against domestic violence in primary schools -

BIG Prävention is an institution that offers a wide range of further trainings, workshops and other projects on the subject of domestic violence and children. With our holistic approach we strive to reach all involved in the school system.

It is our objective to educate and strengthen children, to raise awareness amongst parents and within the school system and qualify all those working in primary schools. 

We impart our expertise about children and domestic violence. We are devoted to breaking the taboo of domestic violence and to improve the protection of abused mothers and their children.

Prevention award

2010 BIG Prävention received 2. Präventionspreis der Landeskommission Berlin gegen Gewalt (2. Prevention award of the Berlin State Commission against Violence).

This award honours and supports special performances in the field of violence prevention as and crime prevention.

Costs and funding

BIG Prävention is financed by the Berlin Senate, Department for Education, Youth and Science (the former Berlin Senate, Department for Education, Science and Research).

Therefore all our offers are free of charge.

There is a rental charge for the travelling exhibition ECHT FAIR! that includes transport, insurance, etc.
